RYLA forced me to break myself down, and look at who I am, and what things i am defining myself with. Often this being the lack of a clear passion or career. I always define myself with my failure, and the week helped me to look beyond that for the first time in years and actually see the things that make me who i am.

Since coming home from RYLA, I find myself consistently asking the question 'how are you challenging yourself today?"

RYLA was able to show me how important different leadership styles are. Prior to the camp I pictured leadership as a single person leading a group of people, however it is clear to me now that there are multiple types of leadership which are all equally important.
